As part of Mellitah Oil & Gas B.V’s wider programme of specialist training, they have requested the help of Gradtech in fostering UK training partnerships and forming programmes, Gradtech’s partner of choice is The University of Chester, Chester Business School. The School is renowned for it’s strong international focus, it’s excellent links with industry and professional bodies and it’s wide range of new and innovative programmes.
Mellitah have sent across eight employees within middle management from varying backgrounds, including internal audit, petroleum engineering, finance, on-field engineers and human resources.
The training partnership is complementary and covers the provision of a one-year Master of Business Administration programme (MBA) with Project Management – incorporating the PRINCE2 syllabus.
The aim of the programme is to strengthen specialist skills in strategically important areas for the oil industry in Libya, through flexible, postgraduate training.
Chester Business School will deliver a programme that will ensure it meets the needs of Mellitah staff, and includes distance learning, short-courses, work-based training, research placements and secondments.
